July 2020- May 2021 – Identifying the Change in Heat Vulnerability and Land-use Influence
Katherine Day was a team member of this project, which supports the Resilient Connecticut planning framework developed and managed by the Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation (CIRCA). Katherine was an integral part of the team that developed a short- and long-term land-cover classification for Fairfield and New Haven counties, using the Local Climate Zone (LCZ) method and later evaluate the relationship between land cover changes and surface heating.
